Adrenaline junkies – advanced and beginners alike – can take on the downhill tracks at Summit Bike Park. With a variety of set ups, banked turns, bridges, and new trails each year, there’s something for riders of all ability levels. Lessons and rentals are available at the resort.

Learn about Big Bear’s wildlife and learn how to help preserve our beautiful mountain home for generations to come! The Big Bear Alpine Zoo offers a unique look into the native wildlife of the San Bernardino mountains while working hard to rehabilitate injured and imprinted animals.

Take a journey into the past at Big Bear History Museum where Big Bear’s incredible history is shared through a wealth of historical information, photos, and displays of cabins, shops, an old schoolhouse, and a mining operation! Enjoy a live blacksmithing demonstration and gold-panning experience.

The Big Bear Discovery Center – run by the Southern California Mountains Foundation – provides visitors with maps and information about all things National Forest.
