Things to do with kids
The Living Desert Zoo, Palm Springs Aerial tramway, Cabazon Dinosaurs, The Kids Clubhouse, My Gym, Chuck E Cheese are all fun kid friendly attractions in the area. Good to do when it is too hot outside for the little ones. The closest park and playgrounds are Monticello Park, Adams Park or Freedom Park
The Living Desert Zoo- hand feed a giraffe, visit the Australian outback or the Rhino Savana. It gets HOT in summer so make sure you pack accordingly.
Palm Springs Aerial Tramway- It is always cooler at the top. If you can't stand the heat of the hot summer days, take the tram up the mountain, suitable for all ages our kids love it
Traveling with dogs
Most out door restaurants and dining areas are dog friendly in Bermuda Dunes, Indio and Palm Springs. Check out this link from Bring Fido for more information on dining areas. Boozehounds in Palm Springs is an awesome place to take your dog and definitely worth checking out. John Mann Dog Park is a close easy play area for dogs as well as any on this Yelp link.
