Getting Around:
☆ Driving: With ample parking and well-maintained roads, driving is the easiest way to get around Indio and the surrounding Coachella Valley. For those renting our property, we offer parking in the driveway and one spot in the garage, making it convenient for guests traveling with vehicles.
☆ Ridesharing: Services like Uber and Lyft are available in Indio, providing a flexible transportation option for those who do not wish to drive. This can be particularly handy during festival seasons when parking near major venues can be challenging.
☆ Public Transportation: SunLine Transit Agency operates the public bus service in Indio and the greater Coachella Valley. It offers routes connecting Indio to other cities in the valley, including Palm Springs, Palm Desert, and Cathedral City. This service is useful for guests who might not have access to a car and need to visit neighboring towns.
☆ Bicycling: For those interested in more eco-friendly transportation, biking can be a pleasant way to explore Indio, especially during the cooler months. Some areas have bike lanes, although the city is not extensively covered with bike-friendly infrastructure.
☆ Walking: While Indio has some walkable areas, especially around specific communities like Indian Palms Country Club where our property is located, walking as a primary mode of transportation is less common due to the distances between major amenities and attractions. However, Jackson Street, just half a block away, offers a shopping center with a Walmart grocery, McDonald's, Starbucks, and Subway, providing convenient access to essential shopping and dining.

Additionally, the area boasts three casinos within a 15-20 minute drive and the Polo fields are conveniently located across the street off Monroe St. For a more extensive dining and shopping experience, guests can use Highway 111, which is lined with a variety of options.
