Baydream Believer is a 7-bedroom soundfront home in Corolla for up to 16, with a private pool (April–October, heating available for a fee), a year-round hot tub, and a long private pier on Currituck Sound. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, an elevator serves all three floors, and one dog is welcome. The Herring Street beach access is about a 10–15 minute walk. In summer, Historic Corolla Park puts on free July 4th fireworks over the Sound.

Baydream Believer sits on a lagoon off Currituck Sound in a newer soundside neighborhood of Corolla. Historic Corolla Park, with the restored 1920s Whalehead house, soundside kayak and canoe rentals, crabbing and a public boat ramp, and the red-brick Currituck Beach Lighthouse are a short drive away. The Corolla wild horses roam the 4WD beach north of town and can be seen on guided tours departing from Corolla or by 4WD vehicle. Duck Town Park’s soundside boardwalk, shops and restaurants are to the south. Groceries: Food Lion in Monteray Plaza and Harris Teeter at the Currituck Club entrance. Timbuck II shopping village is on Ocean Trail.

A car is recommended. A 4WD vehicle is needed to drive the beach north of Corolla where the wild horses roam; guided tours from Corolla are the alternative. Norfolk International Airport (ORF) in Norfolk, Virginia, is the nearest major commercial airport.

Family-Friendly:
As parents of young children, we understand the challenges of traveling with little ones. We’ve made the home as family-friendly as possible and provide a Pack ’n Play with crib sheets, with ample space in any bedroom for setup. If you’d like us to set up the Pack ’n Play prior to arrival, please let us know at the time of booking. Kid-friendly cups, bowls, plates, and utensils are also provided, along with books, games, and puzzles for enjoyable family time.

Pet-Friendly Accommodations:
We welcome one dog only (up to 60 lbs) for a $325 pet fee per stay, which helps cover additional cleaning for pet hair. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet. Dogs may not be left unattended, as barking may disturb neighbors, and are not allowed in the pool. If any waste beyond hair (such as urine or feces) is found, an additional $200 cleaning fee will apply. Please let us know in advance if you are traveling with a dog.

Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) Rental:
A stand-up paddleboard is available for an additional $200 per stay (plus tax). Once payment is received, we’ll send you an access code along with an instructional video showing how to unlock, use, and return the SUP.

Pool:
Our private pool is seasonal, typically open from late March or early April through October, weather permitting. The exact opening and closing dates shift a little each year with the weather, so just send us a message and we'll happily confirm the dates for your stay. Outside the season the pool is winterized and covered — the hot tub is available year-round.

Pool Heating:
Pool heating is available for $125 per day plus tax. It's booked for the full length of your stay and needs to be requested and paid for in advance, with at least five days' notice, so we have time to bring the water up to temperature. Water temperature does depend on the weather, so we're not able to promise an exact degree.

Hot Tub:
The hot tub is included in your nightly rate at no additional charge, and we turn it on ahead of your arrival.

No Adhesives on Walls:
Please do not use tape, hooks, stickers, or any adhesive materials on the walls, as they may cause damage.

No Glitter Allowed:
Glitter is extremely difficult to remove and can cause lasting damage to furniture and surfaces. Thank you for helping us maintain a clean and welcoming space for all guests.

Pests & Wildlife:
Corolla is home to seasonal midges—tiny, harmless insects that do not bite. We recommend keeping doors closed as much as possible to minimize their presence indoors. While we treat the area regularly, they may still affect outdoor spaces, so bug spray is recommended when enjoying the deck or pool areas. Snakes may also occasionally appear from the nearby marsh. If you notice one on the property, please contact us immediately and we’ll arrange for animal control to safely remove it.

• House Rules • Primary renter must be 21+, sign a rental agreement, and provide valid photo ID. The registered guest must remain on-site for the entire stay. Subleasing is prohibited. • No parties or events. Loud music, rambunctious gatherings, or excessive cars disturbing neighbors are strictly prohibited. • No sticking tape on walls or pictures, and no confetti or glitter is allowed. • Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 10 AM. Excessive noise or disturbances may result in immediate eviction without refund. • Smoking or vaping is not allowed indoors, including cigarettes, marijuana, or e-cigarettes. Any cleaning or damage costs will be charged to the primary guest. • Pets must be on leashes in unenclosed areas. No dogs in the pool. Please clean up after your pets and be mindful of barking to avoid neighbor complaints. Max 1 dog • Only park in designated areas: garage, driveway, street parking is not permitted. Max 6 vehicles allowed.
