• Spacious Living Areas: This three-story waterfront retreat offers an unparalleled vacation experience. Each floor features elegantly designed living spaces with plush seating, perfect for gatherings or quiet relaxation.
• Gourmet Kitchen: A fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, including a new fridge, freezer, oven, stove, rice cooker, and 2 dishwashers. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of serving ware, kitchen essentials, and a Keurig coffee machine stocked with pods, sugar, and creamer. Guests are welcomed with a thoughtful basket of snacks and a guidebook filled with recommendations for things to do and places to visit in the area.
• Bedrooms: Seven well-appointed bedrooms, each offering a tranquil, private space to unwind. The home comfortably sleeps 16 guests with 6 luxurious king beds and 4 cozy twin bunks, perfect for large families or groups. Each bedroom has an attached private bathroom for added convenience and privacy.

☆ Family-Friendly: As parents of young children, we understand the challenges of traveling with little ones. That’s why we’ve made our home as family-friendly as possible. We provide a Pack ‘n Play with crib sheets, and there’s ample space in any bedroom for set up. We’ve also stocked kid-friendly cups, bowls, plates, and utensils, along with books, games, and puzzles for fun family time together!
☆ Pet-Friendly Accommodations: We welcome one dog only (up to 60 lbs) for a fee of $200 per stay. This fee helps cover the additional cleaning required for pet hair. If any waste beyond hair (such as urine or feces) is found, an additional $200 cleaning fee will be charged. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet, and dogs should not be left unattended in the home, as barking may disturb neighbors. Please note: Dogs are not allowed in the pool. Please let us know if you are traveling with a dog
☆ Pool heater: The pool requires a lot of electricity heat, so using this will incur a daily fee of $125 (Plus Tax). This will be billed prior to your arrival if you request it, please note we need at least 5 days to heat the pool and must be booked and paid for, for the duration of your stay. Our pool is closed and covered seasonally from November to April.
☆ Hot Tub: The use of the hot tub is included in your nightly rate, there is no additional charge. Our team will turn the hot tub on prior to your arrival.
☆ No Adhesives on Walls – Do not use tape, hooks, stickers, or any other materials to attach decorations or items to the walls, as this may cause damage.
☆ No Glitter Allowed – Glitter is extremely difficult to clean and can cause lasting damage to furniture and surfaces. Thank you for respecting our home and helping us provide a clean, welcoming space for every guest.
☆ Pests: Corolla is home to midges, tiny bugs that are common in the area during certain seasons. While they are harmless and don’t bite at all, they come in numbers, so we recommend keeping doors closed as much as possible to minimize their presence indoors. Keeping the lights off at night is also a tremendous help. We also treat the area regularly to manage their numbers, but be aware they can still affect outdoor spaces. Bug spray but it is a great idea for enjoying the deck and pool areas. Snakes are also common in Corolla at times from the Marsh. If you notice one on property, please contact us and we’ll have animal control come remove them.
☆ Complete Access & Easy Check-In: As our esteemed guests at Hygge on the Bay you will enjoy complete access to the entire property during your stay. Embrace the freedom and privacy of this luxurious retreat without any restrictions. To ensure a smooth and hassle-free check-in, we provide a secure door code. This code will be sent to you 2 days before your arrival, and will give you access to both, the front door smart lock, and the smart lock located on the elevator door on the driveway.

Overall loved the house. We had 11 people total and it worked great. Never felt crowded. Walked to the beach, had bikes delivered, walked to the Walehead Club etc. We enjoyed the hot tub. Beds were comfortable and there was a thermostat on each floor. Game room was a lot of fun and loved the foosball.
There were a few issues but in each case Elissa took care of them as quickly as anybody could expect. I would definitely rent this house again.

Beautifully designed home on the sound. Our family really enjoyed the views, the heated pool and the comfortable beds! Close to stores and attractions. Beach is a quick 10 minute walk. We loved our stay here!

Look no further! This is a wonderful option for your stay in Corolla. This was our second Christmas trip here. This house is perfect for large groups. It is exactly as described and pictured. Elissa, thank you for your quick responses and all your assistance. As you know, we were extremely happy to see a beautiful Christmas tree up in the living room. Such a perfect touch to our holiday stay in your beautiful home. The views from every window were breathtaking. The home is equipped with everything you need and more! Our family noted that previous airbnbs didn’t have extra essential items like dish soap, detergent, toiletries etc. we brought lots of our own but I was very impressed they had all these things stocked up on the home for us to use. The beds were super comfy and each room had its own special touch. There are lots of stores nearby. We loved taking walks around the area. We will miss watching the sunsets from every window of your home. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

An absolutely amazing space to be with family and celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. The house has everything you need for a relaxing get away and the space is so quiet with spectacular views including gorgeous sunsets every night!
Elissa was super communicative and the house was exactly as described. The decor is beautiful, beds are comfy, two refrigerators made it convenient for people on all levels, lots of space for everyone to have their own areas to unwind. Hot tub was awesome with such great views of the sound.
Cannot wait to be back! Thank you for a memorable vacation for our family!

This home was truly magical. It was one of those rare rentals where it felt like home, if home were a vacation. The house was gorgeous, well equipped, very clean, and the decor was beautiful. Our family had an amazing time. If you have the opportunity to go, do it!! You won’t regret it. And the elevator was perfect for older guests and hauling luggage.
